What Does Your Donation to the Annual Fund Support?
- Students: Gifts support academic programs, enrich student life, and meet pressing needs. The fund covers a range of budget items both in and outside the classroom.
- Faculty: DRBU faculty agree to work for a fraction of what they could earn elsewhere. Faculty salaries nevertheless remain one of the largest line items on the DRBU annual budget. By investing in DRBU’s faculty, you help define the University’s spirit, advance scholarship and attract additional high-quality hires.
- Building and Renovating the Campus: DRBU is carrying out major renovation and construction activities on its campus at the City of Ten Thousand Buddhas (CTTB). Once completed, the projects will add critically needed classrooms, offices, libraries, meditation, and meeting spaces, as well as introduce aesthetic focal points to the campus.
- Sustaining and Growing DRBU: DRBU is juggling two major tasks: providing a high-quality education to existing students and planning for significant expansion of its student body, faculty, and campus facilities. In short, the University must give full energy to the present while keeping an eye on the future.
