A Spiritual Community

Our main campus is located at the City of Ten Thousand Buddhas (CTTB), one of the oldest and largest Buddhist communities in the Western Hemisphere. Home to a diverse community of students, educators, and Buddhist monks and nuns, we are dedicated to study, contemplation, and sustainable living.

A Sustainable Campus

Cultivating the intention to live in harmony with the natural world, our campus is also a sanctuary for local animal life, including deer, peacocks, wild turkey, and migratory birds.

Downtown Ukiah

As the county seat of Mendocino, Ukiah’s small-town vibes provide a cozy setting for students to hang out at the local coffee shop, browse at the used bookstore, or play a game of soccer in one of Ukiah’s many parks.

Between the Redwoods and the Coast

Located in the heart of Ukiah valley, we are surrounded by rolling hills, vineyards, orchards, and lakes, providing ample opportunity for hiking, cycling, and swimming. Hop in the car for a quick getaway to the varied natural wonders of Mendocino county, from our ancient redwood groves to our rugged coastline.
