DRBU offers official electronic transcripts to its students and alumni online through the National Student Clearinghouse (NSC). To order electronic transcripts, click here.

Paper transcripts
To request an official paper transcript, please submit the Request for Official Transcript form through DocHub (step-by-step instructions here).

FAQ's about Transcripts:

Q: What is an "Official" Transcript?
A: An "official" transcript is a record of your entire enrollment history at DRBU; partial transcripts are not available. Transcripts include the Registrar's signature and the date issued. Paper transcripts will bear the University seal while electronic transcripts will be secured with a digital signature. Transcripts that are provided directly to students are marked “Issued to Student” to distinguish them from transcripts that are sent by the Office of the Registrar to other recipients authorized by the student.

Q: Where can I have my transcript sent?
A: To whomever you authorize.

Q: Can I get an unofficial transcript for my records?
A: No, however, if you are a current student, you can access your Grade Report from SIS. If you are not a currently enrolled student, you will need to order an official transcript.

Q: Can I pick up my paper transcript?
A: Yes. When you submit your order you can request to pick it up. When you come in to pick it up you must bring a picture id. Transcripts for pick up are always “Issued to Student in Sealed Envelope”.

Q: Can someone else pick up my transcript for me?
A: No.

Q: Where do I pick up my transcript?
A: By appointment only at the DRBU Administration Office.

Q: Can transcripts be sent via email or fax?
A: We do not fax or email transcripts (faxed transcripts are not official and the University cannot ensure confidentiality for any faxed or emailed documents).

Q: How do I request a transcript?
A: To order electronic transcripts, click here. For paper transcripts, “Request for Official Transcript” form can be filled out online or downloaded here. It can also be obtained in person by current students and alumni. Completed form with payment can be submitted to Office of the Registrar in person or mailed to: Dharma Realm Buddhist University, Office of the Registrar, 4951 Bodhi Way, Ukiah, CA 95482

Q: How much does a transcript cost?
A: The cost is $10 for each transcript.

Q: How long does it take to process a transcript request?
A: Please allow processing time of five business days for electronic transcripts and two weeks for paper transcripts. Regular transcript requests will be honored as quickly as possible in the order of receipt. During busy periods such as final examinations and commencement, there will be some delay. Therefore, transcripts should be requested well in advance of such periods. Paper transcripts are normally delivered by USPS first-class mail; express shipping is also available with an additional charge (see below for Special Processing Options).

Q: What are the special processing options for picking up and sending transcripts?
A: Below are special processing options available:

  • Hold for Grade Deadline: transcript sent once grades are posted.

  • Hold for Degree Conferral: transcript sent once degrees are conferred.

  • Electronic Transcripts

    • A maximum of 3 documents per order can be uploaded (by the student) and sent along with your transcripts. (Please specify in the “Enter other required instructions only” field).

  • Paper Transcripts

    • Expedited Mailing Option: Priority Mail Express service is available for an additional fee. Please check postage fee here.

    • Pick-up Option: transcript available at DRBU Administration Office by appointment.
