Five DRBU students spent several weeks this summer in Taiwan studying Mandarin Chinese. Enjoy these reflections they shared on their experiences.

Learning a language is a practice in humility and vulnerability…What I learned during my experience in Taiwan was that with a heart of sincerity and the courage to try, the resulting outcome can only be one of righteousness.

This experience gave me an open mind for a new environment and new culture. I also learned how to be more independent and how to get around in an unfamiliar place. Thank you so much for giving us this wonderful opportunity to learn new things.
