Join Bhikshuni Heng Chih and Bhikshuni Heng Liang for this online class as we continue studying the first assembly of the mantra. This class is hosted by Dharma Realm Buddhist University Extension. We will examine the Qing dynasty text by Master Xu-fa and explore Master Hua’s detailed verse and prose commentaries on each set of syllables.

Participants are encouraged to ask questions and share comments as we learn about the meaning and functions of the mantra syllables, define technical terms, and consider relevant Buddhist teachings and practice experiences. Each session will also include slides from Master Hua’s talks during the 98-day Chan session.
