DRBU BA student Kristina Zavaleta chronicles her study abroad experience in Taiwan. After studying Classical Chinese at DRBU for two years, Kristina applied for and was granted a full scholarship to attend a six-week, immersive, modern Chinese program at Tamkang University (淡江大學) in Tamsui, Taipei, Taiwan. During her time there, she made sure to capture as much as possible, with the goal of sharing this “life-changing experience,” as she calls it, with the people that made her trip possible and with students who are interested in studying abroad.
