On December 7, the Solaris Project, which describes itself as a “collaboration of seeker-songwriters on a mission of musical inspiration,” performed to a full house at the Sudhana Center in Ukiah. Their "radically wholesome, consciously relevant, 100% organic, realistically idealistic all-original inspirational indie-folk-roots music" was enthusiastically received by the audience.
Members of the singing group met DRBU staff and students at the Parliament of World Religions, held in Utah this past October. During their visit to Ukiah, the group also spent time on the City of Ten Thousand Buddhas campus and got to know members of the community.
