SUMMARY:Infinite Light Winter Recital to Benefit DVGS & DRBU
DESCRIPTION:The coming together of diverse genres of music that originated from various cultures and in different periods of time ignites the interconnected light that dispels darkness and erases boundaries and limitations. \nThis inexhaustible lamp is like a single lamp  \nthat lights a hundred thousand lamps;  \nit lights up the darkness\, \nyet its light is never exhausted.  \n—The Vimalakīrti Sūtra \nSample repertoires from the program include Mozart’s Violin Concerto No. 5 in A Major\, a teacher-student jazz duet on saxophone\, contemporary music inspired by ancient Chinese opera\, modern and classical dance\, and originally composed Buddhist choir pieces. \nDonations are welcome and greatly appreciated. Proceeds from this recital will directly support the day-to-day operations of DVGS and DRBU.
